IRSP disrupt Bill Clinton's visit to Derry
1 June 01

IRSP members held two demonstrations against the former leader of world capitalism when he visited Derry on Wednesday 23rd May 2001. During Clinton's address to the assembled crowd in Derry's Guildhall Square the IRSP heckled him throughout. The IRSP also held banners and posters highlighting the current Death Fast in Turkey against the introduction of F-Type prisons.

Incidently, the former president, who is almost bankrupt, received approximately stg£100,000.00 for appearing in Derry.

Q. Who pays this?
A. The working class ratepayers of Derry of course!
