The next three memorials to fallen martyrs of the Irish National Liberation Army to be unveiled by Teach na Failte ('House of Welcome) will be:
23rd February 2003 at 3.00 pm - in the Whiterock, Belfast - INLA Volunteer Hugh Ferguson and Irish Republican Socialist Party comrade Hugh O Neill. 6th of April 2003 at 3.00 pm - in Albert Street, Divis, Belfast - INLA Volunteers Danny Loughran, Emanuel Mc Larnon, Paul Mc Cann, and Gino Gallagher. 13th May 2003 at 3.00 pm - in Friendly Street, the Markets, Belfast - Jim Power, Thomas 'Ta' Power, John O Reilly, and Emanuel Gargan The Teach na Failte Memorial Committee will also be holding a fundraising night in the Foresters' Club in Albert Street on the 8th March 2003, time to be announced. Despite having previously made a number of appeals for this worthy project, Teach na Failte has received little support outside of Ireland itself. Given that this project is a labour of love, created, developed, initiated, implemented, and carried out by republican socialist ex-prisoners of war; and that those being honoured are brave and noble republican socialist women and men who laid down their lives for Irish national liberation and the emancipation of Irish working people from capitalism and other forms of oppression; it is disappointing to hear that none of those in North America, on the isle of Britain, or resident in other nations of the world, who consider themselves supporters of those twinned struggles, would not provide make a contribution to bringing the efforts to fruition. Accordingly, we again ask that all members, supporters, and friends of the Irish Republican Socialist Party and republican socialist struggle in Ireland make an effort to give whatever they are able to ensure that the memorial project succeeds in its goal of honouring all the martyrs of the IRSM.
